HOW TO PLAY

Controls

Move: Drag your ship with mouse or touch.

Fire: Hold click or touch the screen to shoot.

Bomb: Press SPACE or tap the purple BOMB button.

Time Slow: Press SHIFT or tap the blue SLOW button.

Objective

Destroy the red anomalies and survive!

Power-Ups

Orange [SP]: Spread Shot

Green [RF]: Rapid Fire

Blue [SH]: Shield

Teal [DR]: Attack Drone

Purple [BM]: +1 Bomb

Cyan [TW]: +1 Time Slow

v2.5 - Performance Update

Zero-Allocation Engine: Completely removed GC pauses. Particles and lasers are now pooled in memory and recycled instantly upon leaving the screen.
Delta-Time Physics: Game logic now syncs perfectly with your monitor's refresh rate via requestAnimationFrame, reducing CPU strain and matching exact speeds on 30Hz or 144Hz devices.
Lazy Level Loading: The engine now only computes Enemy gradient graphics strictly for the current sector you are fighting in.

v2.4 - Prestige Update

Crown Tiers: Added Bronze (Level 30) and Silver (Level 50) crowns. Your highest earned crown is permanently attached to your profile across all future runs!

v2.3 - Accessibility Update

Colorblind Mode: Added a new toggle in the Settings menu that overlays clear text labels on power-ups and distinct warning symbols on explosive anomalies for players with color vision deficiencies.

v2.2 - Explosive Update

Exploding Anomalies: During the first 10 levels, some enemies will have a blinking red core. Destroying them causes them to erupt, sending dangerous red shrapnel flying in all directions!

O(1) Object Management: Replaced standard array splicing with lightning-fast swap-and-pop algorithms to handle thousands of entities without frame drops.
Radial Gradient Caching: Anomaly graphics are now pre-rendered into memory, eliminating massive rendering bottlenecks.
Math Optimization: Removed heavy square-root calculations from hit-detection and AI targeting for butter-smooth gameplay on older devices.

v2.0 - Security & Drone Update

Anti-Cheat Architecture: Advanced memory tamper protection, anti-bot input verification, score spam locks, and hardened DOM security to ensure fair competitive leaderboards.
Attack Drone: Added a teal power-up that deploys an autonomous, indestructible drone to orbit your ship and auto-fire at the nearest targets. Deploys on levels 5-9 of each sector.

v1.0 - Major Overhaul

100-Level Expansion: Infinite scaling replaced with a 100-level sector system featuring dynamic boss scaling.
New Enemy Factions: Enemies now shift through 5 geometric archetypes (Asteroids, Crystals, Organic Orbs, Fighters, and Gears) every 10 levels.
Advanced AI: Added sine-wave dodging, homing mechanics, dive bombing, and high-speed horizontal sweeping.
Generative Audio Engine: Fully synthesized 8-bit retro soundtrack with dynamic tempo shifting and crossfades.
Dual Supers: Added 'Time Warp' power-up (Shift) that slows game physics alongside the standard Bomb (Space).
Leaderboard Crowns: Global champions who defeat level 100 now earn a permanent 👑 icon.
Sawtooth Difficulty: Smoother difficulty curve that resets speed when transitioning to a new sector to allow players to learn new AI patterns.
